Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of metal fabricated products based in the Birmingham area, who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their team.

Design Engineer Position Overview

Using Autodesk Inventor to create manufacturing drawings for the workshop
Liaising with the manufacturing team to ensure drawings are understood and interpreted correctly
Working with customers to understand project and design requirements
Logging CAD files on to the system

Design Engineer Position Requirements

Experience with AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor
Based in a commutable distance of Birmingham
Previous experience in a Design Engineering role
Understanding of metal fabrication manufacturing processes is desirable
Good communication skills
IT literate

Design Engineer Position Remuneration

Starting salary £26,000 - £34,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week. Flexible start & finish times.
31 days holiday including bank holidays
