We're working on behalf of a local authority in Kensington and Chelsea, West London, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their housing estate maintenance team.

This is a static role based on a single housing estate - all properties are within walking distance, so no van or fuel card is required.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking a wide range of carpentry and multi-trade works including, but not limited to, plumbing, plastering, decorating (both externally and internally) and tiling, using schedule of rates.
Floor joists, floor boards, stud work, skirting boards, hanging doors and door saddles, installing kitchens, cupboards, shelving, and lock changes.
Using a PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry (desirable)
