Responsibilities:
Our client, a market-leading and fast-growing Importer and Dealer of Heavy Plant and Agricultural machinery, is seeking a talented Parts Manager to join their team.
As the Parts Manager, you will oversee a busy Heavy Plant Machinery Parts Department, working closely with the service department, technicians, and clients. Your main responsibilities will include managing parts for equipment such as Shredders, Crushers, Screeners, Conveyors, and Chippers, as well as stock control, stock ordering, stock replenishment, and liaising with suppliers and clients.
Additionally, you will handle the movement of parts using a Forklift Truck and supervise a Service Administrator.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar position, ideally within the Plant Equipment or a related industry.
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential to ensure the smooth running of the department.
As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing stock storage, stock ordering, and record keeping of parts and consumables. You will also work closely with a Service Administrator who will assist with customer and supplier liaison, as well as coordinating with field service plant fitters.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar position
Background in Plant Equipment or related industry preferred
