Title: Design Manager

Location: Falmer, Brighton - hybrid 2-3 days in office

The successful candidate will lead and manage the engineering design delivery for a portfolio of non-infra water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide engineering support through the full project life cycle including design, construction, commissioning and handover.

- Collaborate with other engineering discipline lead to ensure design needs are optimised.

- Manage suppliers/subcontractor design input to make sure it aligns with the project goals.

- Develop and oversee Engineering Project Plans encompassing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources.

- Provide a focus of sustainable approaches to the design, with contributions to carbon reduction.

- Support and implement processes for a strong economical outcome.

Essential/Strongly Desired Requirements:

- Chartered Engineering Status with a degree level qualification

- Strong water industry experience delivering both multiple and high value projects

- Experience managing a multidisciplinary design team

- Full UK driving license
