JOB TITLE - Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) for Primary School Children
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for an Ofsted Excellent SEN Primary school in Chigwell, Epping
The School is an SEN School teaching Primary Aged students with Autism (ASD) of ranging learning ages. The ideal candidate will have multiple years Experience and will be confident in their knowledge.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location - Chigwell, East London
· Position - Speech and Language Therapist
· Type of work - Provide 1:1 Support, Planning, Parents meetings etc.
· Contract or position start date - 18th November - ASAP
· Duration / Likely Duration - End of academic year, Permanent Contract available upon review
· Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary to Permanent
· Full time/part time - Full time
· Minimum rate of pay - GBP90 to GBP120
· Hours - 8:00 am - 3:30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· SALT Degree or Relevant Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
· SEN Experience ASD, Mutism, Etc.
· Registration with the HCP / RCSLT
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
