JOB DETAILS:

Working on behalf of a local authority, JO recruitment has an urgent requirement for an experienced Housing Options Officer. This is a hybrid role (one day or 2 days in the office) initially for 3 months with possibility for extensions. This is a full time position, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £22.82 per hour PAYE; which is equivalent to approximately £44k salary or £30 per hour through an umbrella. To start ASAP.

• Basic DBS required

• Experience in assessment and review of section 202 required

• Assess and review housing options for individuals seeking asylum and vulnerable residents, ensuring all recommendations are in line with council policies and regulations.

• Handle complex cases, providing clear guidance on housing rights, homelessness prevention, and support pathways.

• Conduct thorough reviews of decisions made within the housing options service, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
