Axi Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join one of our clients, who are a leading global manufacturing business. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Hull, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generating weekly and monthly financial reports
* Gathering weekly outlook data to forecast P&L
* Assisting the Accountant with weekly tasks and financial reporting.
* Overseeing the fixed asset register and managing Capex requests.
* Processing and reviewing employee expense claims for accuracy.
* Compiling month-end reporting packs for review by senior management.
* Updating management accounts with actuals and forecasts.
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
* Managing intercompany reconciliations and ensuring balance sheet accuracy
Requirements:
* Hold an ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
* Strong time management and high organisational skills, prioritise tasks accordingly
* IT proficient with MS office including Excel and SAP
* Excellent reporting abilities, with a keen aptitude for analysing and managing financial data
