Monday – Thursday - 08.00am – 16.30pm (30-minute lunch) – Friday - 08.00am – 01.00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our client based in Swindon.
Job Purpose:
This role involves overseeing inventory, kitting, and dispatch operations. As a team player, you will manage store processes, uphold quality standards, and provide timely support to the engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inventory Management: You oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of parts and materials. You maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements.
* Inventory Management: Control and complete Stock Checks to ensure records are accurate and controlled.
* Despatch: Ensure all products are shipped on-time and to the highest quality.
* Quality Control: You ensure that all parts and materials are of high quality and in good condition. You take steps to prevent damage or loss of inventory.
* Works Order Processing: You manage the processing of requests for parts and materials. You ensure that works orders are accurate and delivered on time to meet project deadlines.
* Safety Compliance: You ensure that all safety rules and procedures are followed in the handling and storage of parts and materials.
Qualifications:
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
* Full Clean Driving Licence required.
* Flexibility to operate in the needs of the company
