The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Arborist with experience working across commercial and domestic sites? Do you have experience of being a Tree Surgeon and Climber? Working in a high standard environment? Is progression and development something you have been actively seeking? If so, read on.

As an Arborist your responsibilities will include the following:

* Assessing and identifying the specific needs of trees.

* Pruning and trimming trees to promote healthy growth, improve aesthetics, and ensure safety.

* Removing dead or diseased branches to prevent the spread of diseases.

* Evaluating whether a tree needs to be removed due to disease, decay, safety concerns, or other factors.

* Safely and efficiently remove trees, often using specialized equipment like chainsaws and cranes.

* Ensuring that tree removal complies with local regulations and permits.

* Identifying and diagnosing diseases, pests, and other issues affecting trees.

* Developing and implementing treatment plans to address problems and restore tree health.

* Planting trees following best practices to promote healthy establishment.

* Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards posed by trees, especially in urban areas.

* Climbing trees using ropes and harnesses to access various parts for inspection or pruning.

* Using rigging techniques to control the descent of branches during tree removal.

We are looking for an Arborist who has the following skills and qualifications:

* Full UK Driver’s License (Preferred)

* Experience as an Arborist

* NVQ, CSCS (desirable)
