We are seeking an experienced Taper to join a site in Hexham, starting ASAP.

Role Overview:

* Covering all aspects of a Taper role.

* Ongoing work available for the right candidate.

* Rates negotiable based on experience.

Daily Duties Include:

* Preparing surfaces for taping and jointing.

* Applying joint tape to seams between drywall panels.

* Smoothing and sanding joints to achieve a seamless finish.

* Repairing imperfections and ensuring surfaces are ready for painting or decoration.

* Collaborating with other trades to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

* CSCS Card is essential.

* Full PPE kit (including high vis and boots) and tools are required.

* Relevant experience in tapering is a must.

Pay:

* Paid weekly via CIS or PAYE, depending on your preference.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 50 per week
