School cleaner - Barnsley

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (10 hours per week)
Enhanced DBS Required

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team in Barnsley. This role is essential in ensuring that school premises remain clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
Maintain hygiene standards in classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.
Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
Report any maintenance or damage issues to the Supervisor.
Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored securely.
Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.Requirements:

Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or similar environment.
Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Good time management and attention to detail.
