Fox Construction Recruitment are looking for an experienced and competent Site Manager in the London area starting immediately, the job will be based at a train station so previous knowledge of working at a train station would be preferred.

Job purpose:

The Site Manager will be responsible to the Contracts Manager for the duties detailed below:

Key Responsibilities

Set up, co-ordinate and implement the site offices, canteens, and other welfare arrangements.

Write method statements for all temporary site arrangements as required by Site Manager.

Comply with all aspects of construction phase Health and Safety plans regarding all temporary site arrangements.

Supervise the installation of all roofing systems as per the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications.

Check materials and labour is on site in accordance with programme requirements, as required to produce good quality work.

Ensure there is a safe system of work in place for all roofing activities and scaffolding, and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time.

If circumstances change in the roofing or associated areas, inform the Contract Manager or Senior Structural Engineer, and ensure agreed variations are adhered to.

Issue, monitor and check day-to-day work of roof workers & sub-contractors.

Compile daily diary and photographic weekly report.

Ensure compliance to the Safety Responsibility Statements

Staff: - 4 - 6 Direct reports being from the Contract Manager.

Review and signing off Operatives time sheets

Role Requirements

CSCS

HNC In Build or equivalent NVQ Level

Knowledge of Roofing products

CITB SMSTS Certificate

First Aid at work

Asbestos Awareness Training

Work at Height Trained

Scaffold Awareness

Full Driving Licence

5 years of Roofing expertise in all aspects of roof infrastructure works including flat, pitched, associated works and specialist roofing systems and site and personnel management.
