Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative to join one of their clients based in Birmingham, B6.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by managing stock, assisting with shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organised work environment.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

* Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling at all times.

* Manage stock levels using

* Pick and pack orders efficiently, preparing them for dispatch while adhering to quality standards.

* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.

* Maintain an organised warehouse space, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and safely.

* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Skills

* Experience in stock management within a warehouse environment is highly desirable.

* Capability to perform lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties.

* Excellent attention to detail for accurate picking and packing of orders.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

* Good organisational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm , Friday 8am - 3:30pm
