This Montessori Nursery is a beautiful, unique, based in woodland areas. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join their wonderful team. The role will suit an organised individual with a passion for early years care and education. The ideal candidate will have a positive, fun and friendly approach with an organised and highly motivated disposition. The candidate will have excellent communication and written skills, be patient, kind and caring with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents/carers and staff.
We are looking for someone with the following:
Minimum Level 3 early years qualification
Managerial or room lead experience
Sound knowledge of the EYFS
Extensive safeguarding knowledge

The successful candidate's core purpose is to:
Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Promote a consistently high standard in all issues relating to learning and teaching in line with the nursery ethos and policies
Support the Directors and Managers to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring that all children receive the highest levels of care and education
Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained
To work with GSL Education as a Deputy Manager, you should:
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
