Lead a New 3-Bed Residential Home for Children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Are you a passionate and dedicated children's services professional seeking to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people? A forward-thinking, independent care provider is looking for an exceptional Children's Home Manager to lead a new 3-bed residential home in Handsworth, Birmingham.

In this role, you will oversee the overall management and operation of the home, creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for the children in their care.

As an experienced residential childcare manager, you will lead and inspire your team, ensuring staff receive the training, support, and professional development opportunities they need to provide outstanding care.

Key responsibilities include:
•Managing all aspects of the residential home, including staff supervision, training, and performance management
•Establishing a culture of compassion, safety, and positive outcomes for children
•Maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving Ofsted 'Outstanding' ratings
•Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans

To be successful in this role, you will need:
•Level 5 Diploma in children's residential care
•Substantial experience managing a children's residential home, preferably with Ofsted registration
•Demonstrable ability to lead and motivate staff teams
•A passionate, purpose-driven approach to supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
