Electrical Testers 

Site Operative Solutions are currently seeking Electrical Testers to join our client's team on a large government project in Reading. If you have a strong background in electrical testing and hold a valid IPAF certification, we want to hear from you.

Your role will involve:

Conducting electrical testing and inspections

Electrical installation, containment and wiring 

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations

Using your IPAF certification for working at a height

Approved Electrician rate 

First 37.5 hours Monday - Friday = £21.91 per hour 

O/T After 37.5 hours Monday – Friday = £31.62 per hour

O/T All day Saturday = £41.32 per hour & All day Sunday = £41.32 per hour

Lodging is available at £70 per night 

Weekly travel allowance 

£50 per week, quality checks 

£50 per week (paid fortnightly) attendance bonus 

£110 per fortnight based on hours completed over 11 shifts 

To be successful, you must have:

Proven experience as an Electrical Tester

A valid Gold card 

2391/2391 C&G Certificate (and/or on gold card) 

A valid IPAF certification

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

This project requires security clearance so you must be eligible for this and have a clean criminal record. The client can assist you in completing the vetting process and there are temporary passes which can be used to start on site. You must be willing and able to complete the required processes.
