Are you looking to kick-start your career in the financial services industry? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our friendly and professional team as a Financial Services Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial services team, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring the highest level of service for our clients.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to gain professional qualifications and progress within the role if desired.

Location: 98 Hollway Road, Stockwood, Bristol, BS14 8PG.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with financial document preparation and processing.

* Maintain client records and provide exceptional customer service.

* Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.

* Perform general office duties and support financial projects as needed.

* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.

* Collaborate with team members on financial projects and initiatives.

What we will need from you

* You will be self-driven and naturally use your initiative, enabling you to identify opportunities to improve processes (essential)

* Ideally you will have previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the financial services sector, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an ability to work with online services and systems (essential).

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively (essential).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal (essential).

* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping (essential).

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion (essential).

* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mind-set.

* Financial experience is not necessary but a desire to progress in the industry is highly desirable.

What you can expect in return

* Salary range £22,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on relevant experience with a salary review on completion of probation.

* We will offer full support and payment towards CII/PFS qualifications from entry-level Awards to Diploma level (where you can start to advise customers). Advanced Diplomas and Chartered status can also be offered to anyone wishing to develop a career in financial services and gain professional status.

* 25 Days Annual Leave (plus additional days offered at Christmas) plus bank holidays.

* Hours of work – 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (including 1 hour lunch break)
