Job Overview:

As a recruitment consultant at Hourglass Education, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and placing the best educational professionals into schools and multi-academy trusts. You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process from initial client contact to candidate placement, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction for both clients and candidates.

This role requires a dynamic, proactive, and results-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues.

Please note, this is a full-time role, based either in our office near Halifax, West Yorkshire, or central London. After a successful induction period, there is scope for a hybrid approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Client relationship management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with multi-academy trusts, schools and other educational institutions.
Understand client needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Regularly engage with clients, including client visits, to build rapport and gain a deeper understanding of their requirements.
Provide ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently.
Candidate sourcing and management:
Identify, source, and screen potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
Maintain an active and up-to-date candidate database.
Provide career advice and guidance to candidates, helping them to achieve their professional goals.
Recruitment process management:
Manage the entire recruitment process, from the initial job brief to offer and acceptance stages.
Negotiate salary packages and contracts between clients and candidates.
Ensure all necessary compliance checks and paperwork are completed before placement.
Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate satisfaction.
Business development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector.
Develop and implement strategies to grow the client base and increase market share.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Hourglass and expand professional networks.Qualifications and experience:

Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a related field is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the education sector and understanding of school staffing requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.What we offer:
