Team Leader – Manufacturing Assembly (Workshop)

Rate: £15 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee manufacturing assembly operations in a busy workshop environment.

You will be responsible for supervising a team of assembly workers, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide hands-on support in assembly.

* Lead and support a team of assembly workers to meet production goals.

* Oversee the assembly process, ensuring adherence to company procedures and quality standards.

* Monitor workflow and coordinate tasks to optimize efficiency.

* Train and mentor new and existing team members.

* Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Maintain accurate production records and report to senior management.

* Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.

* Promote a positive team culture and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment, preferably in a leadership role.

* Strong knowledge of workshop assembly processes and production techniques.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.

* Flexibility and adaptability to business needs.
