Due to further growth a leading engineering consultancy are seeking an Electrical Engineer with proven experience across electrical design and understanding of control systems to join their team of specialist engineers.

Reporting to the Team Lead you will be responsible for the following:

* Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics for LV switchgear using CAD software, ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements

* Produce functional design specifications for control systems in compliance with industry

* Oversee electrical control system projects from design through to installation and commissioning

* Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, including organising and attending FAT & SAT tests

For this role you will require:

* HNC or Degree in an Electrical Engineer discipline

* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP SEE Electrical or similar)

* Understanding of wiring regulations such as BS7671 & IEC Standards

* Having strong knowledge of PLC Programming would be an advantage
