Role Details:

Location: Surrey

Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 + Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher*

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Teach students (ages 11-16) with Autism and communication needs.

* Work with a multidisciplinary team and manage behaviours effectively.

* Monitor progress and attend relevant meetings (PEP, EHC, LAC).

* To maintain an overall awareness of current issues in the field of autism in order to be able to plan for effective teaching and learning.

Skills & Qualifications:

Successful candidate qualities:

* PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.

* Experience teaching English up to GCSE level.

* Knowledge of Autism, SEMH, and PDA profiles.

* Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
