Description

Accurately process financial transactions in line with company procedures.
Processing monthly bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts
Maintaining purchase and sales ledger
Ensure sales and purchase invoicing is up to date and payments are reviewed and made on a timely basis.
Contribute to the development of new financial systems and processes.
Collaborate with the rest of the accounting teamProfile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

Gained relevant experience in transactional finance position or degree in Finance and Accounting
Have strong motivation to succeed and progress
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Job Offer

An annual salary in the region of £25,000 - £28,000.
Study support available after probation.
Fully office based role
