Data Architect - Defence Consultancy

Surrey - Hybrid 2 days a week on site

Salary - £80k - £100K + Excellent benefits

Clearance; Must be SC or DV Cleared

You will join the engineering team of a highly regarded Defence Technology consultancy. As a Data Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their clients' data strategies and designing innovative solutions to tackle complex data problems.

Your Mission:

Develop data-intensive solutions that drive business growth for Defence clients
Design and architect data pipelines and platforms for structured and unstructured data applications
Collaborate with data engineers to deliver solutions that meet client needs
Support Client Managers in pre-sales activities to develop relationships and solutions
Contribute to capability development through involvement in business development activities and technical bid creationRequirements:

Degree-level qualification in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
Experience in Data Architecture and Strategy in a UK Defence or Public Sector context
Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data and techniques for exploiting them
Experience working with Data and Software Engineers to deliver complex data solutions
Agile Framework experience
Appreciation of cloud solutions and traditionally hosted systemsNice to Have:

Experience building data pipelines in a Cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Knowledge of commercial and contractual frameworks
