Role: Management Accountant
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, dependant on experience

The owners are looking for a commercially minded accountant with strong business partnering skills who will look to identify operational profit gains within the business and improve processes within the accounting function and wider business.
Duties:
* Responsible and accountable for the production of accurate and timely management accounts, and the integrity of all balance sheet accounting on behalf of each retail until.
* Managing a small team to ensure the accounts are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
* Responsible for interpreting the management accounts and providing commentary and insights, highlighting potential challenges in addition to successes.
* Support the external audit process and provide responses to any related queries to ensure the audit process is conducted smoothly and accurately.
Skills and Experience:
* Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with expertise in management accounting, month-end processes, and leading finance teams.
* Skilled in preparing and presenting detailed monthly reports to owners.
* Experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders, ideally within an SME.
* Proficient in Xero, ERP systems, and reporting tools like Excel and Power BI.
* Competent with MS Office, including PowerPoint, and a strong communicator with a positive attitude.
