You will be joining a main contractor based in Derby working on power, industrial and commercial schemes across England. This established multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development (including chartership). Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
As Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Checking plans and drawings
Overseeing the selection/requisition of materials
Interpreting design documents
Liaising with key project stakeholders
Planning works and organising plant
Preparing reports when required
Setting out, levelling and surveying sites.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
Experience setting out groundworks, drainage and/or RC works
A CSCS card and be familiar with robotic total station instruments
A full UK driving licence and be willing to commute and lodge (when required) to sites across England (majority within the Midlands area).
