We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Project Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months in Ealing. As the M&E Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing various building, safety remediation, and retrofit sustainability projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the effective project and contract management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Prepare and manage project budgets.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and policies.
Conduct site inspections and provide progress reports.
Resolve technical issues and liaise with design and engineering teams.
Act as the key point of contact for team members and lead customer engagement.
Manage commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
Chair meetings and sign off on task orders and valuations.
Collaborate with service partners to deliver works programme and achieve contract compliance and quality.
Deliver excellent levels of customer service.Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role managing Mechanical and Electrical projects.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical services.
Excellent project management skills.
Experience with Decent Homes Standard and Lettable Standards.
Commercially aware with a focus on continuous improvement.
Knowledge of health and safety standards, construction regulations, and quality control.
Proficiency in project management software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Desirable qualifications and memberships:
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field).
