We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) to work on a permanent basis for our client who are a well-established manufacturing company based in Fulbourn

The Package and work pattern for the Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role:

-Base salary: £28,555 per annum

-Night shift premium: £3,219

-Quarterly bonus scheme up to £450

-42 hours per week (Monday to Friday nights, varying times between 8:00pm- 5:30pm)

-28 days holiday (including public holidays)

-Additional holiday for each year of service (up to 5 years)

-Group personal pension plan with up to 8% employer contribution

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role:

-Lead and organise the night team operations upon start of shift

-Manage nightly deliveries and stock placement

-Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards

-Control bulk stock replenishment

-Perform quality control and minor rectification work

-Process customer orders using bespoke system

-Handle customer queries

-Complete shift handovers via email to Regional Manager and Supervisor

-Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures

-Maintain health and safety protocols

-Occasional cover for driving duties during busy holiday period ( typically 20% of the time)

Key Relationships for the Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role:

-Reports to Regional Manager and Supervisor

-Leads night team and drivers

-Interfaces with customers

-Works with warehouse personnel

Required Competencies for the Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role:

Essential Qualifications for the Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role:

-Previous warehouse leadership experience

-Full UK driving licence

-Clean DVLA record

-Ability to work permanent nights

-Experience working independently

Desirable Qualifications:

-FLT licence

-Previous demonstrable experience of working night shifts for a sustained period

-Experience driving 3.5t vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter/Ford Transit)

-Experience in glass/glazing industry

-Knowledge of warehouse management systems

-Health and safety qualifications
