My client has a great opportunity for a hands-on automations Software Engineer with experience of programming controls for aerodynamic test equipment for leading companies around the world.

Job duties of the Software Engineer are to:

* Work with the engineering team to produce state of the art test and robotic equipment

* Use your experience of C++/C# to produce servo motors and motion controls

* Interpret various electrical drawings/documents

* Fault-finding and problem-solving

Skills and experience required for the Software Engineer are:

* Experience of automation, programming drives and precision engineering

* Engineering degree

* Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process

* Knowledge of PLC software would be an advantage
