Seeking a Component Inspector on a contract basis for my Newbridge, Edinburgh based manufacturing client.

**Candidates MUST HAVE Mitutoyo CMM experience to be considered **

Role: Component Inspector (Contract)
Location: Newbridge, Edinburgh, EH28
Shift: Mon-Fri. 8.25am -5.05pm with some flexibility.
Pay rate: £16 - £17 per hour PAYE only. Plus holiday pay in addition.
Vetting: Referencing & clear drug screen required.
Applicants must already hold the rights to live & work in the UK

Main Responsibilities:

Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the different stages of product manufacture of products.
Inspection of metalwork and components parts used in Microwave Communications Equipment.
Performs quality control inspections for incoming and outgoing parts.
Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Controls non-conformances, liaising with the production line for problem solving on issues identified.
Takes measurements using Mitutoyo CMM and other traditional measurement methods, along with visual checks on products.
Ideal candidate profile:

Previous inspection experience essential.
Must have Mitutoyo CMM (Coordinate measuring machine) experience
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Fluency in written & spoken English
