Teaching Assistant | Leicester, LE8 | £95-£105 | Long-term to perm | ASAP

Long term futures is proud to offer this opportunity at a lovely SEMH school in Leicester, LE8. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching assistant who has experience working with ASD/ADHD/SEN. In this role you will be responsible for supporting children's behaviour and classroom learning, you will be working with children with complex needs.

Your role as a teaching assistant may include.

Supporting children's behaviour, helping nurturing SEN/SEMH children to their full potential.
Monitor student progress, ensuring they are meeting their goals and reporting concerns.
Helping children understand teachers instructions - assist with personalised learning plans to ensure students individual needs are met.
Support students with their personal care and daily routines, always ensuring dignity and safety
Work with the class teacher, SENCo, and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progressIdeal Candidate

Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students
Previous experience with a 1:1 role
Strong Communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students.
Must have a patient and caring method of teaching to deal with children who have complex needs.In this role you will be supported from start to finish by the school in able to for you to deliver your best for the pupils.
