Quantity Surveyor – Retail Projects (£500k–£5m) | Hybrid Working

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage a portfolio of retail projects valued between £500k and £5m. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with projects based in the North West and London.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and financial aspects of retail fit-out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cost Management & Budgeting – Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

* Procurement & Contract Administration – Source and manage suppliers/subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

* Financial Reporting – Conduct valuations, manage project cash flow, and provide cost forecasts.

* Risk & Value Management – Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate potential risks.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in retail, fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
✔ Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
✔ Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
