Job Role: Site Supervisor / Manager

We are excited to be working exclusively on behalf of our client GEC Power, a well-established and dynamic company providing sustainable energy solutions, specialising in renewable energy installations. GEC Power serves a diverse range of clients, including Main Contractors as well as those in the public and private sectors, across commercial, industrial, and large-scale domestic markets.

Due to a period of organic growth, our client is now looking to consolidate this growth by adding an experienced and skilled Site Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company dedicated to innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Job Description:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in project delivery. You will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all installations are carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage daily site operations to maintain project schedules and quality standards.

* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow and resolve any issues that arise.

* Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and toolbox talks.

* Monitor and maintain site inventory, equipment, and materials to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively.

* Conduct quality checks on all installations and construction work, ensuring adherence to design specifications and company standards.

* Prepare and submit daily progress reports

* Support team development through on-site training and guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, ideally within the renewable energy, construction, or related industry.

* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices for site management.

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

* Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in project delivery.

MUST HAVE the following:

* SMSTS Current Certificate

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly in solar PV or heat pump installations.

* First aid and health & safety certifications.
