Office Manager

East Grinstead

08:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Friday

£28k - £35k depending on experience

Lloyd Recruitment is pleased to be working with a small construction company on the outskirts of East Grinstead in search of an experienced Office Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling phone calls, greeting clients, and managing mail
Scheduling and organising the Director's appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to manage project timelines and expectations
Overseeing daily office operations, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring the workplace is tidy and functional
Assisting the Director and team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
Managing invoices, processing expenses, and coordinating with the accounting department
Supporting project managers in tracking project milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely completion
Assisting with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records
Helping with the preparation of marketing materials and maintaining the company's social media presence
Ensuring the office adheres to health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and maintaining records

Requirements:

Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK drivers' licence and own vehicle - due to location
