* Full-time or Part-time (flexibility with remote work 1-2 days per week)
* Permanent position
* £45,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent on experience

About the role:
As our Financial Controller, you'll be stepping into a pivotal role. With our founder transitioning into semi-retirement, this position offers the chance to lead and refine our financial processes in a cash-positive, expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Uphold the company values of Caring, Honesty, and Endurance.
* Ensure accurate business transactions and compliance with accounting principles.
* Collaborate on month-end close and year-end accounts with team and external accountants.
* Manage bookkeeping, VAT returns, recurring invoicing, and weekly pay runs.
* Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and monitor key business metrics.
* Oversee monthly stock takes and customer/product profit analysis.
* Maintain internal financial controls and optimise debt collection.
* Provide accurate financial reporting and continuous improvement in finance operations.

Our Ideal Candidate:
You will thrive in fast-paced environments and have the following skills and qualifications:
* 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
* AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
* Strong experience with monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing.
* Organised and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficient in Xero financial reporting.
