The Position – Sports Coach / Behaviour Mentor

Qualiteach are looking for a Sports Coach who is strong with challenging behaviour who can mentor a pupil in Year 5 who is close to exclusion from the school. The pupil is currently just within the school in the afternoons meaning in the morning you will be supporting PE lessons, as well as planning and delivering when required. Within this role, you will be spending half of your time within the classroom and the other half of your day in the sports department. For this role, ideally the Sports Coach / Behaviour Mentor will have experience working in a school for at least one year. However, the key skill for this role is excellent behaviour management skills.

The school is a mixed Community school in Tower Hamlets. The school has a total capacity of 480 pupils including a Nursery. The school achieved an “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted back in March 2024.
