Primary Teacher (Y1 Maternity Cover)

£30,000 - £46,525 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)  
Easter 2025 – July 2025 

The School and Role  
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Year 1 teacher to cover a Maternity Cover in Retford. The role is due to start after Easter and is required until Summer.  
The school are happy to take applicants from ECT’s and experienced teachers.  
The school are looking for a teacher who: 

Has experience and is confident teaching Key Stage 1.  

Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management  

Is an excellent team worker and can demonstrate excellent communication skills 

Able to build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents/ carers.  

The school is a small primary school situated in Retford. The school is a friendly, caring school which is central to the community. They have a dedicated supportive team who create an ethos of success for both children and staff.  

Requirements  
The desired Class Teacher will have;  

Have an excellent understanding of how children learn
