Position: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Workington, Cumbria
Salary: £90 per day - £125 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with autism
* Assist with classroom activities and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of each student
* Help with the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs)
* Support students with daily routines, including personal care if needed
* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to track progress and ensure the best outcomes for students
* Promote social, emotional, and academic development in a positive, respectful manner
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have a genuine passion for working with children, especially those with autism
* Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable
* Be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
* Ideally have experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) or a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN qualifications)
* Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
