GSL Education Lincoln is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work across a vibrant school in Lincoln. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can support students with their learning and help them overcome any barriers they may face.
Teaching Assistant role:
The successful Teaching Assistant will be part of an inclusive and collaborative team, working closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students. You will assist in lesson delivery, help manage classroom behaviour, and work with small groups or individual students as needed.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working with students in an educational setting
Be patient, understanding, and able to build positive relationships with students
Be confident in supporting classroom management and student engagement
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Be adaptable and able to support students with varying needs
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
