EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Despatch Operative:

* Packing finished goods/parts according to customer packing specifications

* Ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for despatch

* Updating records and inputting data using Excel and ERP systems

* Checking stock levels and ensuring correct inventory control

* Identifying and reporting any issues with packing or quality control

Requirements for the Despatch Operative Role:

* Previous experience in despatch, packing, or stores within manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments

* Strong computer literacy – able to use Excel and ERP systems confidently

* Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and report potential issues

* Honest and proactive approach

* Efficient and well-organised working style

* Training will be provided for a Pedestrian Truck Licence
