About the Production Machine Operative job

The purpose of your role is to be responsible for the manufacture of food products according to the production plan.

Key tasks

* Set up, control, and adjust semi-automated machines, feeding raw materials as needed.

* Periodically test machine operations, reporting issues or breakdowns to the Production Manager/Engineers.

* Organise production processes to maximise efficiency, meet targets, and ensure quality standards are upheld.

* Follow hygiene, health & safety, and food safety guidelines, identifying areas for improvement in production methods.

About You

* You should have some experience in food manufacturing, production, or packhouse environments.

* Experience with mechanical food production machinery and a mechanical mindset are a plus. Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications are also helpful.

* A driving license and your own transport are essential due to the factory’s location and shift hours.

The package includes a £26 weekly attendance bonus.

The working hours are 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
