What you’ll be doing
Playing a key role in projects which align with our People Strategy, driving and delivering Virgin Money’s digital ambitions to our colleagues, through the development and implementation of People systems, HR technology and tools
Maintaining, configuring and developing our People System (including databases and interfaces) to ensure its stable and robust with optimal data integrity
Having the curiosity and skill which enables you to troubleshoot systems issues, and the creativity to identify solutions and improvements
Extracting data securely and contributing towards the provision of quality data insights to enable actionable business insights
Working within governance frameworks to ensure effective data management compliance
Building productive relationships with partners and stakeholders which have a positive business impact
Working within a team of skilled Analysts, being comfortable sharing knowledge and ideas and also busy, diverse workloads.
We need you to have
Experience of maintenance, configuration and development of People/HR Systems
Previous experience of being a SME for a range of technical projects, offering expertise, delivering actions and providing key updates within required timescales
Familiarity with extracting and analysing data into key insights for a range of audiences
A working knowledge of the project lifecycle for the implementation and adoption of digital tools
Great understanding of cyclical HR activities such as Pay & Bonus and related system configuration
Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manipulate, analyse and interrogate data
Awareness of complex data modelling and familiarity with data warehouses
Proficiency and experience of GDPR, the strict confidentiality of People data, and working within data governance and compliance frameworks for all systems and data activities.
We would like you to have
Experience of working with PowerBI
Skills in programming languages such as SQL or DAX
Experience of working within a regulated environment
