Role Overview:

Seeking an Engineering Team Lead to oversee design solutions across the full engineering lifecycle. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions on schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage an engineering team, ensuring regulatory compliance.

* Provide technical leadership across product development and approvals.

* Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to standards.

* Oversee engineering deliverables, resource planning, and performance reporting.

* Collaborate with internal teams to define technical specifications.

* Manage team performance, recruitment, and development.

* Drive best practices, resource sharing, and continuous improvements.

* Ensure system safety, risk management, and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

* Attention to detail with a proactive, adaptable approach.

* Experience engaging with customers, suppliers, and contractors.

* Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Requirements:

* Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

* Chartered Engineer status (desirable).

* Experience in product design, integration, and lifecycle management.

* Knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.

* Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams.

* Familiarity with ISO and marine/defense regulations.

This role may involve occasional travel.
