Type: Permanent – Site & Hybrid Working

Location: Sheffield & Surrounding Yorkshire Water Areas

The Company

My client is successful, dynamic and growing contracting business who work within all aspects of Civil Engineering.

They are currently growing year on year in the UK and have a healthy turnover. As a result of increased workload, they are looking to hire an experienced Site Agent to take on new framework projects across south Yorkshire. Mainly Civils & Retaining Wall packages related to the water industry.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Director

Responsible for engineering deliverables throughout a project life cycle:

Compliance with statutory and framework/client specifications

Monitor delivery programs against site performances.

Work to NEC

Work with the Project, Engineering & Operation teams to eliminate or reduce risk

Ensure compliance with CDM regulations

Ensure internal governance and processes are followed

Participate in client initiatives and proactively promote health & safety performance

Review subcontractor tenders and performance

Training and career development opportunities

The Candidate

Be well organised, well experience in Civils site delivery and project performance.

HNC or equivalent Civil Engineering and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, and NEC Contracts

Have appropriate experience and a technical understanding of Civil Engineering requirements within the water industry.

Requires a full driving licence as potential for working on site as and when required
