Maintenance Technician/Fitter
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Long Marston,
Working Hours: 40 hours per week – Shift pattern: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00
Salary: £14.93 per hour (£31,000 per annum)

My client is looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Technician/Fitter to assist with the maintenance and day-to-day operation of fixed plant and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment reliability is maximised, contributing to maintaining high levels of production output.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond immediately to plant breakdowns and assist in resolving issues to minimize downtime.
Perform repairs on machinery and maintain site facilities, tooling, and equipment.
Identify and suggest improvements to the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment, reporting these to Site Management.
Provide technical support to Supervisors in the operation of plant machinery.
Assist in maintaining plant availability and meeting production targets.
Comply with all relevant legislation and company standards.
Follow company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the client.Key Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience in medium to heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
FLT licence is desirable.
Experience and qualifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial.
Completion of a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is required.
