About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Systems Consultant with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (365BC). This role is pivotal in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system optimization across internal and external business applications, ensuring efficient operations.
As an IT Business Systems Consultant, you will work closely with various departments to understand their IT challenges, improve system performance, and drive efficiency and scalability. You will also play a key role in governance, business application planning, and delivering measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support for finance applications, diagnosing and resolving technical issues within SLAs.

System Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate and configure business systems to meet company needs.
*
Process Improvement: Identify areas for system enhancement and recommend solutions.
*
Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements and develop system specifications.
*
System Upgrades & Integration: Implement configurations and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration.
*
User Support & Training: Offer guidance and technical support to end-users.
*
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain in-depth documentation and ensure adherence to DORA and GDPR regulations.

Regulatory Reporting: Assist in regular regulatory report creation and analysis.
*
Industry Trends: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
*
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Finance.
*
Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (365BC).
*
Strong understanding of finance subsystems like General Ledger (G/L), Accounts, SQL, and AL development.
*
Experience in multi-national projects, system migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
*
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
*
Knowledge of data management, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
*
Experience in fast-paced environments, balancing technical and business activities.
*
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills

5+ years of relevant IT experience, ideally in a client-facing support role.

Experience with system integration and project management.
