Simply Education is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a vibrant educational setting in Northampton. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of students aged 13 and above in Key Stage 3 and 4.
About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will lead a small class in a supportive environment tailored for students with special educational needs. Your primary responsibilities will include effective behavioral management and lesson differentiation to meet the diverse learning needs of your students. You will play a crucial role in identifying gaps in knowledge and implementing strategies to help students bridge these gaps.
Our Northampton school features a bright and colorful recreational area where students can unwind during breakfast club, breaks, and lunch periods. We have four spacious classrooms, each equipped with interactive Smart boards or projectors, ensuring that all lessons are engaging and utilize innovative resources. This environment fosters creativity and collaboration among students.
We are looking for a confident individual with experience in SEN settings. You should be adept at managing behavior and skilled in tailoring lessons to accommodate varying levels of understanding among students. Your ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere will be essential in helping our students thrive.
Qualifications Required:
Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Experience working in an SEN setting.
Strong understanding of special educational needs and effective differentiation strategies.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusivity.
