EXPERIENCED SUPERVISOR / TEAM LEADER / FOREMAN / CHARGEHAND WITH A BACKGROUND WASTE & RECYCLING, WATER TREATMENT OR AGRICULTURE REQUIRED

TITLE: Plant Operations Supervisor / Team Leader Waste & Recycling Site

SALARY: £34,800 plus Bonus & Enhanced Overtime

LOCATION: Exeter

RESPONSIBILITIES - Plant Operations Supervisor / Team Leader Waste & Recycling Site

You will oversee the operations at a waste management site ensuring KPI's are met, and safety, ISO standards, environmental and company policy are adhered to.

You will deliver effective processing and output within the operation and ensure that staffing levels are controlled, and performance levels are kept to a high standard.

You will ensure all maintenance schedules are adhered to.

EXPERIENCE - Plant Operations Supervisor / Team Leader Waste & Recycling Site

Experience in one of these fields highly desirable:

Waste Water, Anaerobic Digestion, Green Waste, Farming, Open Windrow Composting, Anaerobic Digestion, Agriculture, Landfill Gas, Biogas, Agriculture, IVC / In-Vessel Composting, Farming, Landfill, Waste Management, Recycling

Ideally you will have operated mobile plant such as Loading Shovel / JCB / Telehandler / Excavator

Excellent safety record ideally NEBOSH or above

Any engineering / maintenance experience a bonus

Excellent man and change management skills – you will have experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Foreman, Chargehand or Manager

Experience managing contractors

WAMITAB COTC4 (Certificate of technical competence) ideally in Biological Waste Treatment would be beneficial
