Engineer - Test & Inspect (2391 Electrician)
Location: HM Prison Wormwood
Salaries up to: £38,258.51 with an additional 5% salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.
Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B male prison.

As a Test & Inspect Engineer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Test & Inspect Engineer with any combination of:

C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) qualifications with an NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing qualifications
A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition
Experience working on commercial equipment or in catering or healthcare environments
Confidence working in planned and preventive maintenance operations, in a setting where quality and compliance are absolutely paramount
