Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker

Veritas Education is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives, helping them overcome barriers to learning, and managing challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioural needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments.
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and parents to monitor and support students' progress.
Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour support plans.
Promote emotional and social development, helping students build resilience and self-esteem.
Support classroom teachers with general class management and behaviour intervention.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an education environment is essential - ideally in a behaviour support, teaching assistant, or pastoral role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
A positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting students' individual needs.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
