Overview:

You will be working as part of the London-based structural engineering team, focusing on an engaging portfolio of projects in the UK. You would work on a diverse range of projects. Anything from Residential, Leisure, Education, Industrial, Commercial, Hospital/Health projects and more!

This is a real chance to gain more autonomy and use your design and construction knowledge.

This is a position for an accomplished Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in structural analysis, design, and project management. Chartership is advantageous though not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering complex structural engineering projects from inception to completion. Your will play a pivotal role in leading design efforts, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

The Senior Structural Engineer should be able to:

Work independently and as part of a team, offering creative solutions
Produce calculations, models, reports, and presentations to an excellent standard, on time and to budget
Conducted Surveys and wrote Reports
Conducting structural analysis and design for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their professional development and growth.
Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope.

Senior Structural Engineer Skills:

Achieved Chartership status - IStructE or ICE
Strong design knowledge and use of using British and European codes of practice
Experience in using MasterSeries and TEDD software
A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong understanding of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE).
Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
